Setup Outlook

1.) Open the Control Panel from your Start Menu

2.) Depending on your setup you will see one of two screens. If you see the first screen below, then please “Switch to Classic View” at the top left of the screen.

3.) Once you’re at the Control Panel, please open up Mail.

4.) If you have Outlook 2003 you will see the Screenshot ‘A’ below. If you have Office 2007, you will see Screenshot ‘B’. To create a new account, either press “Email Accounts” or “New”.

5.) In Office 2003 you will be asked to add a new email account. In Office 2007 you will need to select the option to manually configure settings at the bottom of the screen.

6.) Select Microsoft Exchange Server:

7.) Fill in the appropriate information and then select More Settings. DO NOT press next!

8.) Select the Connection tab when the More Settings window comes up. Select “Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP” and press ‘Exchange Proxy Settings’.

9.) Fill in the fields with the information below.

10.) Make sure the Encryption option is left checked and that the login security at the bottom is at Password Authentication (NTLM)

11.) Press check name once the previous information is entered

12.) Once you check name a password prompt will show. Place your email into the password (an example has been provided for you below) and type in the password given to you, default is password88.

13.) After logging in, you will receive a congratulations screen. Press finish, and open Outlook. For security reasons, Outlook will ask for your password every time you open the program.
